"We are strong, and no one will ever understand the dynamic my mom, my brother, and I will always have, no matter what... I have a friend that is 4,000 miles away. It is my mom and myself. We have us, and only we can help each other move each day."
Through every high and low, there has been one constant. Even when we were separated by distance, watching each other navigate the hardest moments in life, my mom has always been there.
I wrote this book to make her and my brother proud. I want to see my mom smile and carry it to the next day without having to work hard to satisfy anyone or make any situation better. Her unwavering support and strength have been the absolute foundation of this entire project. I am beyond proud and deeply grateful to have her standing beside me as the President and CEO of Stehouwer Publishing. This journey is also dedicated to my grandfather, my grandmother, and the brothers that Adam left for me: AND.L & PHL.M.
